Moxie is back from "vacation".....

     Every once in a while we kennel our guide dog puppy at the guide dog facility. This gets them used to being there, used to the routine and staff, and gives them an opportunity to spend time away from home. This also gives us, as the puppy raiser, a break from training and bringing our puppy with us wherever we go. Moxie was gone for four days and we just brought him home today.

     I can tell you that Moxie was certainly glad to be home. He came in and greeted our two other dogs, went potty outside and he's been asleep on the tile floor the rest of the day. It seems having a new roommate, all the water play, a bath and vet visit have pooped him out. Next month he'll be scheduled for his twelve month evaluation so we'll try to schedule one more kennel stay before that.
