Graduation Day- Moxie

Moxie in his big boy harness

Gandhi said, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." Today, as we watched Moxie interact with his new owner we were overjoyed that we were able to play a small part in someone else's life. We are proud of Moxie and know that he is off to a great life. We are also excited to start the next chapter as we begin to work with Titus.

  1. Oh Congratulations Moxie! (And you, too!) Nice comparison in your photos--Titus has some big paws to fill. :)

  2. congrats Moxie!
I wanted BB to be a therapy dog and I would take her to hospitals. She is so calm... there are no testing in my area any time soon. Any tips??
well, she has to get well first too

  3. Rose Kute, If you want BB to be a therapy dog I say go for it! My Frankie is a therapy dog. If you go to the Therapy Dogs International website there is information should there be no testing in your area for an alternative to pass the test. I believe you answer questions in a study guide. The basics of a good hospital therapy dog are one that is calm, does not startle too much (and recovers quickly when startled) and one that loves affection. The testing is pretty straight forward. They aren't looking for perfect dogs for hospital therapy, just really good ones! Good luck!

  5. Good Boy Moxie!! I told everyone you were going to be a graduate! I think the chat we had together on turn in day in the kennel helped too :) Go be awesome!
