Who's knocking?

     I was sitting at my kitchen counter catching up on some Pinterest posts when I heard a tapping at my back door. Since I have a six foot fence and both dogs were at my feet I was more than curious about who could be there. When I went to the door I was quite surprised and more than a little amused to see my chicken, Dorothy, waiting patiently for a snack.

     Now, I may be a crazy chicken lady but I've never invited my chickens into my house. Not only that but the girls are locked in their lower yard. So, to come up to the door Dorothy had to hop the fence, go up the steps and then know to go to the door. Who says chickens are stupid?

     I probably made a big mistake giving Dorothy some spinach and an apple. I was laughing pretty hard and impressed with her skills. However, now I see this has caused a bit of a stir in the henhouse. This time Dorothy brought her friends......
